The true fastest bowling record (correctly measured) is held by Shoaib Akhtar. This ball was bowled in a one-day match between Pakistan and England, and measured at 161.3kph (100.2mph). Akhtar, together with Brett Lee were universally recognised as the worldâ??s fastest bowlers of the last decade, and Akhtar consistently bowled in the mid 150, and occasionally approached the magical 160kph mark.
